P4P#1. Hatton should have had to come to PBF which is what he did and I respect that. By some peoples way of thinking I guess De la Hoya should have came to PBF when De la Hoya was the one being chased.

You turn down 8 million because you know that all money ain't good or smart money. People have plans and obviously PBF had a plan and too me it seems to have worked perfectly. While Margarito can barely make 1 million for a fight PBF makes 20+ million and is now the face of boxing. So who do you think is smarter?

    thank you..........

      its the ppv numbers

i was at the god damn cotto mosley fight and neither of them made close to 20 million...
cotto is the money fight right now mayweather will never get a bigger payday than his match against de la hoya
seriously for a guy that claims to be pound for pound king he should be fighting the best in his division mosley p williams and cotto are the best in his division and cotto is the guy that draw most and he is the obvious money fight not too mention the fight everyone wants to see if he keeps ducking him its clearly cowardice

Mayweather was a 2:1 favorite not 4:1. But we can thank brits and 24/7 for that. (Thanks 24/7 and brits!)

cotto's resume isnt even TOUCHING mayweathers resume... floyd doesnt need cotto... cotto needs floyd

still no boxing expert picked hatton to win
cotto mayweather is a much more competitive fight that could go either way and should be encouraged to happen instead of making cotto doesnt draw excuses

first of all .... a LOT of boxing experts picked hatton, including half this damn forum.... but once someones knockedout, it seems like everyone suddenly forgets that...

and i GUARANTEE U... if cotto floyd fight happens.... itll be another 2:1 favorite across the board, it will not be even... cotto is not on floyds level... he just isnt

cotto will have more of a chance than hatton... but itll by floyd UD

if you take all your money and put it on cotto... u gonna be a broke mother ****er

I agree with you that it would be more competitive and that Cotto would have a better shot, but my money would be on Mayweather.

yeah whatever floyd doesnt need anyone thats why hes been handpicking his opponents since day one
if a guy claims to be the number one he should fight the best in his division doesnt he?
and hatton mayweather was an obvious missmatch no one gave hatton a chance cuz he wasnt a welterweight and the only time he fought in that weight he did awfull

the hatton that fought floyd was not a top 10 fighter

It hard to argue your points. Good post and I agree with you Homie. For the Haters its always somebody that Floyd is so called ducking. Now that name is Cotto. Cotto made Floyd retire. What a crock of bull****!

According to Mike Bison, Floyd was scared, pissing on himself because he didnt want to fight Hatton at 140. Now you speak of this about Hatton. WOW it seems like Hatton didnt want anything to do with Floyd at 140.

The point I'm stressing is the hater will say anything to hate on Floyd.
