I'm not trying to make any statements about the American justice system whatsoever but isn't it odd to hear that someone took another's life and so they're in jail for 29 years? How does someone see the pain in a dead family member's eyes and say that their deceased brother, husband, son or father's life was worth exactly 29 years. Strange.
