Not sure about faster but certainly more powerful. Sultan has some fast hands IMO. Sanders too but Ibragimov isn't as slow as he looks like.
The power, awkwardness and height of Sanders were what made the difference in that fight.

And if someone is going to use the Wlad was underprepared excuse for that fight, how about Sanders being a part-time golfer, part-time boxer.

Wlad lost because of Sanders' style, that's all. Sure Wlad could and probably would win the rematch but he got knocked out, no excuses. Great fighters like Ali and Louis were underprepared and knocked down too but they still found ways to win the fights.

Yes to great fighters and champions. Not Ross Purrity, Lamon Brewster and Corrie Sanders. Those fights should be compared to the fights Ali had with Cooper, Wepner and Banks or the fight Louis had with Galento.

I just happen to like the picture. It isn't any kind of a statement by me. But I guess it's all about the avatar and not what you know. Good that you're sticking up for your buddy though. That's real sweet.

Was Schmelling such an amazing fighter? He was a solid guy who taught Louis some lessons when the champ was still not at his best. Sanders is not appreciably worse than Schmelling.

Or how would Frazier do against Sanders?

being underprepared is not an excuse, it is the REASON he lost. huge difference.

do you actually even know the story?

and corrie does have an awkward style, but corrie did not respond to wladimir's inqueries about a rematch. how many people know that?

i am not making excuses. just stating how it is.

and where the **** does this part time golfer **** come from? he was good at golf, and pondered turning pro if he retired. stop listening to the **** perpetuated by low life haters who have nothing else to do.

Schmeling was a former world champion who beat many of the division's top contenders. He could be ranked among the top HW's of all time (not near top 10 or even top 20 though), Sanders not so much.

The only reason Sanders was ever a champ was because of Wlad. He was a boxer who barely trained for his fights and didn't really care about boxing, just brawling with his handspeed and power.

Sorry but I'm trying to be objective here. You are a Klitschko fan and are trying to point out that Klitschko lost because he was underprepared.

                      It's an excuse.

Tyson was underprepared against Douglas. Louis was underprepared against Galento. Ali was underprepared against Henry Cooper. Sanders was underprepared against Vitali Klitschko.

You can say the same for a lot of fighters but I doubt you would defend Sanders if someone said "Vitali beat him up like the bum he is".

I don't really care if Sanders was a part-time golfer what I'm trying to say is if you're underprepared it's your own damn fault. Great fighters are able to deal with that. Wlad couldn't.
