How Good is Shane Mosley's record

How Good is Shane Mosley's record ? fantastic fighter dont get me wrong great guy aswell ,just playing devils advocate but he has beaten a shot Vargas twice ,beaten Dela Hoya twice [2nd very debatable IMO] he has been beaten twice by Winky & Forrest

what are your opinion's on his record ,just to make it clear he is a great fighter IMO i do not disagree with that just like to get your opinions on his overall status as a great fighter

mosley's resume of wins outside of de la fishnet really isn't all that strong to be honest.

Well considering the guys he lost to.. as well as the fact.. That he always took on the best... he has done quite well for himself..

Dominant at 135, successful at higher weights. Kind of like a Roberto Duran
but his competition isn't that good.

Especially at 135. Mosley was a great blend of speed and pop there but his opposition there left a lot to be desired.

Mosley faced better opposition overall and his best win (Oscar in 2000) is better than any of Mayweather's wins.

Mayweather's has a deeper resume of wins over solid guys and top contenders/titlists at the time than Shane.

just before he fought de la hoya for the first time i remember there being talk of shane going on to be a better fighter than SRL and SRR. his skills were amazing. i guess you gotta decide whether defeats to guys at higher weights, like forrest and winky detract from his legacy. im sure he could of played it safer but thats not what great fighters do. overall i think SSM resume is very good, and he;s still the best fighter i've seen since i started watching back in 1997
