I cannot see Kelly Pavlik ever beating calzaghe in a fight, seriously.
I don't see him beating him, either. Nonetheless, a guy with that power is IN A FIGHT, regardless. Dawson or a decent looking Jones would be nice aswell.

I'd settle for Tarver if he beat Lacy decently. KO or something.

Very true. Kessler didn't look bad, Calzaghe just looked great.

        Ike Quartey
        Felix Trinidad
        Shane Mosley (twice)

        Fernando Vargas
        Bernard Hopkins
        Ricardo Mayorga
        Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Forget about if he got robbed or if the opponent was robbed. Both scenerios happened. Forget if he was bigger or if his opponents were bigger. Both scenerios happened. Forget if some of the fighters were faded or if he was starting to fade. Both scenerios happened. Point is, he's lost to only the molded names. Those four names, you could make a case have ALL been p4p champion at one point or another. That's pretty impressive.

The general public MAY overrate him, but he's a very UNDERRATED fighter in a lot of regards. That's a VERY solid resume.

If you believe Hopkins is overrated, you have to believe Calzaghe is, in a certain way.

I know Calzaghe doesn't like hearing this about himself, but it's true.

True, He does have a great resume of fighters who he fought. But my issue is this, If he wasn't as adored by the public as much as he is, would he have gotten those fights? Would the judges have not given the victory over Strum to set up the bhop fight? Winning once verse Mayorga really doesn't constitute you great enough to fight p4p champ flyod mayweather, when the guy that beat you 2c (SSM) has to fight guys like Collazo (no disrespect). ODLH has lost 3 of his last 5 fights and he's probably gonna fight Cotto? It gets rediculous & part of his resume win, lose, or draw is based on money and his popularity, not his fighting skill.

I see where you're coming from. Nonetheless, it's tricky to call. With another solid win, perhaps over Cotto, his resume looks a lot different years down the line. I'm not sure if he deserves any of this. I'm not sure what he deserves. However, he DOES get the attention. Some fighters just got it like that. Can't fault him. Overrated him or underrating is all based on how you're looking at it. He's a unique case.

Ill agree with that, its tough to call & can be seen in many diff ways. I just hope if Cotto beats his a$$ he retires for good.
