I'm sorry to say you're wrong on this one. Calzaghe taking 25000 fans to America.....absolutely no way that is happening. Calzaghe is not a bigger draw than Hatton. Simple fact is Calzaghe is from Wales and sorry to say it but usually there isn't that much going on over there so when a fight goes on everyone goes to see it even though most of them don't know that much about boxing. But this enthusiasm is never gonna stretch to them going all the way to New york. Perhaps in Vegas it could work cos its the type of place that attracts people to visit for a couple of days, get wasted, gamble lots, watch a fight and then go home, but not New York i'm afraid.

I think they will because people who used to hatton fans before might not like hatton anymore because he lost and are now joe fans more than hatton fans.

I think it will.. Now that Hatton had lost, Joe is well hyped up for the British to defeat Hopkins.. I think majority of British in Boston will go to New York..

Average NYC temperature at night in April is low/mid 40's. No shock for it to be in the 30's. This fight is not being held in Yankee Stadium in Apirl. Too cold.

Its all about the venue, Brits aren't gonna travel to see a fight in new york. In vegas it's as much about the glitz, glamour, alcohol and ******** on offer as it is about the fight. Half of hattons fans would probably have been in vegas without a fight going on.

New york just doesn't hold that same kind of appeal. Sure it's a nice city but not in the same way, and it doesn't attract the kind of people would usually be up for seeing a fight.

Madison Square Gardens would be a better bet.
