Yankee stadium !?!?! Is that serious? That's gonna look awfully depressing with that many empty seats =(

first of all its NOT gonna be at Yankee stadium, no chance what so ever, thats just what B-Hop said.

And there would be a ton of empty seats, but less then you'd think.

seats would be cheap with so many available, its a fight at Yankee Stadium so there would be tons of mainstream attention, so a lot of fans that would normally not go to the fights would be going.

Not to mention the 15+ thousand Calzaghe fans that would make the trip, and the 10,000+ B-Hop fans that would make the trip for this mega fight.

If dont correctly, and if it gets a lot of attention because of the Yankee Stadium deal, i could see it selling nearly 40,000 seats, which is a lot, but there would still be about 20,000 empty seats.

Absolutely. The only bigger joke than Boxrec's schedule is their ratings. Go to Maxboxing or ESPN for a reliable boxing schedule. And I'm willing to bet all my points that this fight doesn't take place in Yankee Stadium.

yeah, i know their ratings are way screwed up but I never realized that they had false schedules.

I never trust boxrec for anything apart for boxer's records. None of the big boxing sites have reported on this.

They list fights based on rumors. Of course some of them turn out to be true. But I'd like to see a site that publishes boxer's records have a schedule based on fact.
