It's okay for U.S. fighters to spend their whole lives over here fighting, where we have great decisions like Casamayor/Santa Cruz and DLH/Sturm, just not for any other country in the world. That's why you had Jeff Lacy as a 2 to 1 favorite over Calzaghe.

Not sure, it doesn't seem like he's underrated on these forums. Every Calzaghe/ Hopkins poll, everyone has Calzaghe winning about 70/30. Plus I disagree that he has fought the best in the division. He hasn't fought Bute, Winky, Hopkins, Tarver, RJJ, Johnson. Not saying that those people would beat him, but if he fought them and whippped um up then the american public would prob accept him more you know.

Bute is overrated and hasnt earned a shot at the undisputed SMW champion. Do you honestly believe Bute would beat Kessler? I rest my case.

Winky is not a SMW and would be so useless Joe would get little or no recognition for beating him, just look at Hopkins, if anything beating Winky made him LESS of a legend because he has all his biggest wins against little guys.

Hopkins wouldnt step into a ring with Joe back in 2002, and is only doing so now because its the only fight he can realistically take.

RJJ was slightly out of Joes time unfortunately. We would have seen a prime Roy destroy a green Joe, or a prime Joe embarrass an old Roy. Neither man deserves that.
