    Calzaghe is underrated.

He has beat the best boxers in his devision. He rated in the top 2 or 3 p4p? But people still seem to think he is not the real deal? He tought the a man called Kessler who is also underrated. Before the fight people was not giveing joe a chance but now all of a sudden kessler is rubish. wtf? Hopkins in not even on the same level as Kessler so why should he be allowed to share a ring with joe? I thought the boxing boards of controls didn't allow mismatches.
So if hopkins can beat wright, it's only taylor or pavlik joe should fight. Then when joe beats taylor or pavlik you will try and down grade it saying there were rubish as they had to move up a weight. Joe deserves more cedit than you give him.

I just received and watched a DVD I ordered from the Calzaghe website, which shows highlights from many of his fights, and the full Lacy fight.

Joe really is great boxer and definitely is underrated by most people here in America.

Nah people who follow boxing closely all hold Joe in tremendously high regard.

The occasional no0b arrives who has trouble accepting an unusual phenomenon, but other than that he's not underrated anymore.

He does slap. He can punch hard sometimes, but more often he leaves his left hand open. He also pull punches, throws arm punches, etc.

Sometimes he just shows a guy he can touch him, which is frustrating.

yeh i would agree with that but i would say joe sometimes doesnt punch as hard as he could because he doesnt want to breake his hands agen.

i think cal is a great fighter. in america he won't really be big cause he never fights there. but if what i hear is tru with the yankee stadium thing, it'll boost his greatness if he can win
