Does Winky Wright hit harder then ppl give him credit for?

I know he has a mean ass jab but I never would consider him strong, but he has gotten Hopkins and Taylor both on the ropes before. He had hopkins and taylor both back pedaling at times, and I always considered Winky Wright to be a smaller fighter compared to those two.

You never get to the level he is at without a little bit of power, it isnt knockout power or accumulative power but he hits decent, of course. malignaggi and him are alot alike in this aspect, neither have that born power but both lift weights and are able to put people down occasionally. they are both more physically strong than punching power stronger.

Yeah, his jab gets quite a bit of respect. He just never really sits down on anything but his jab, so no one sees that he has power. And it's okay that he doesn't sit down, because he wins perfectly well.

I also don't think Winky does have a lot of power, but he has tons more than people give him credit for.

Yes he does. He hits you with alot of shots but you see all of them coming. And he is an arm puncher and puts absolutely zero torque and leverage into his shots.

He is good at what he does though.
