unfortunately i've seen alot more than 10 calzaghe fights, listen calzaghe unfortunately came when the division was very weak and over the last 10 years has fought very low class opposition for a champion, you cant deny that, although i was impressed with his win over woodhall (but then woodhall was beat by keith holmes and marcus beyer) and lacy, he will forever be remembered by me for not going to the states 5 or so years ago and hounding jones and hopkins, like hatton done with mayweather, they would of fought joe but on their terms, joe would have had to swallow a much smaller purse but what price greatness? thats it right there, what price greatness. yeah he just got by kessler but kessler aint no jones jr, remember that son.

he didnt exactly batter him did he? simple facts my boy, instead of going to the states and fighting the very best, he stays in wales and fights mario veit, tocker pudwill and kabery salem. i mean most fighters dream of topping the bill in vegas or at the garden but not joseph, nah, the world revolves around cardiff!Comment

Joe stayed in Wales because he is ....Welsh? Did Hopkins fight in the UK? No, he didn't need to!
In all of Calzaghe's fights at SMW he has been the draw so why should he have to fight anywhere else? The "Top" fighters like Jones, Hopins etc, none of them wanted to take the risk and fight Joe. If it was Joe who rejected a 4M offer to fight Hopkins 4 years ago he would be constantly reminded of it, but he didn't, did he?
I know boxing and I think Calzaghe did enough to win, I wouldn't say it was a clear win and wouldn't say people would be wrong to think Reid won but robbed? That's the wrong word.
After all, he did fight with a broken hand in that fight and I think that was the first hand break he had in his career. It's not very nice, you know...

Everyone either overrates him or underrates him.
He seriously belongs about where The Ring put him, #5.
#1 or #2 is ridiculous.
Past #6 is ridiculous.

ha yeah he's fighting in the states next with a ****in 43 year old man who been done twice by taylor who been ko'd by pavlik! im talkin 5 years ago son. hatton could draw 30,000 to manchester but went to america where he could only sell out just over half that, its about cementing your legacy, going after the top boys who are considered the best and who at the time were dripping in belts not just wbo. hopkins and jones were ppv, tell me what calzaghe fights have been ppv over there, cal has only really been opened up to the american boxing community since lacy. so no he wouldnt of been the draw against b-hop and jones jrComment
