    Misread the question a bit.

Vitali is tall but doesn't have a great reach, Wlad is a bit shorter but has a longer reach. I think Vitali would be harder for Tyson but we never saw enough of him because of his injuries.

Tony Tucker (6'5, 221) would be the closest top opponent in size. While Tucker had a better chin than Wlad, Klitschko's offensive skills are on a whole different level.

People overrated Tyson and underrate Klitschko and I believe that is down to the fact Tyson fought the likes of Holyfield etc and sadly I believe it's also down to race.

Tyson vs W.Klitschko - Could go either way, Vitali would beat Tyson, Wlad though I'm not sure.
Tyson vs Ibragimov - Tyson always comes out strong, KO 2-3.
Tyson vs Chagaev - Tyson would out slug 'White Tyson' and win within 4.
Tyson vs Peter - Tyson KO 4-5.
Tyson vs Thompson - Tyson KO 4-5.
Tyson vs Brock -Tyson KO 5
Tyson vs Valev - Ha ha, I would pay to watch that stare down let alone the fight. Could Tyson even hit Valeuv's jaw without jumping? Tyson TKO 8-9.
Tyson vs Povetkin - Povetkin is too green, Tyson wins by KO.
Tyson vs Virchris - Tyson KO 5.

            4 more by the 7th

            and 4 descions against
            James Tills-31-8-0
            Mitch Green-16-1-1
            James Smith-19-5-0

So we can conclude.. That he would KO you early... Or You had a chance..

Now those 4 guys who decisioned him.. WHO are they?? Jouneymmen? Those are Jouneymen Records in a somewhat weak ERA.. as weak as Today's I would say.. I dont know about the Other 2 .. But James Smith was like a Jameel McCline with a Chin.. and nothing more..
Tony Tucker.. was on Par with Calvin Brock

Douglas.. LOL he was a what?? He fought Nobody.. and even lost to the Guys that Tyson Couldn't KO.. Like Tony Tucker..

I think You see my point.. Tyson was a Killing Machine.. But Not unbeatable.. and Might not do as well today if peaking as some suggest..

He did lose almost every "BIG" fight of his life..
very good post. tyson did NOT carry his power very well late, or his stamina for that matter! Tyson was great, but is far over hyped, and would lose to many of the top atg heavies!

If wlad gets past the 4th round he wins!

Tyson was a good fighter in his prime but he did not have the heart to be in a long tough fight so if any of these fighters could make it past the 5th or 6th round and fight him back, they would have a chance. I dont see Tyson beating Peter because he is too tough, can take his shots, and has a chance at stopping him late. Tysons people did a good job at avoiding the dangerous power punchers unless they were mandatories and he had to fight them. I think that Tyson would be ahead on the cards until he mentally broke down and Peter stopped him late. Prime Tyson ducked Ray Mercer and old George Foreman. and i already said that Wladimir would beat Tyson in the other thread. But to me its just laughable when people say that Tyson knocks everybody out when they do not think about his insucurity and heart.

Tony Tucker's record when he fought Tyson was impressive, 35-0, and he was a world champ. However, if you look at the record of some of the guys Tony fought
                    0-15-0
                    0-5-1
                    0-3-0
                    2-5-0
                    3-17-0
                    9-26-0
                    11-31-2
                    13-25-2
                    13-30-2
                    9-9-2 (7 losses in a row, 5 by KO/TKO, in Tony's 33rd fight !!)
                    7-8-0
                    14-14-0
                    0-0-0 3 of them
                    etc

Tony won a vacant belt by beating a decent clubfighter named Buster Douglas and lost the belt in his first defence against Mike. He failed in his next 3 attempts at a title, one a 2nd rd TKO loss to Herbie Hide. Let's not act like Tony Tucker was more than he was.

                      Wlad 6'6 1/2, 246 vs Ray Austin
Vitali 6'7 1/2, 250 vs Danny Williams and Kirk Johnson.
Ruddock was 240 for the rematch. Tyson fought a lot of very heavy guys too but they weren't world class.
I don't think weight helps against Tyson as the Ruddock rematch showed.

The Klitschko's are huge but I'm not going to pick someone against Tyson simply because of that.

Vitali has a good combination of speed, size, power and toughness to trouble Tyson but he never beat a world class guy either and the lesser opposition he did beat isn't comparable to the boxer's Tyson beat. His injuries and his tendency to cut always troubled him.

Wlad has an even better combination of speed, size and power (less height, longer reach, probably faster and stronger) but lacks the toughness Vitali had. IMO Wlad has beaten the better competition but has also lost to much worse competition than Vitali because of his suspect chin.
It's hard to say if Wlad could outbox Tyson without getting hit right now because he hasn't even ended his career yet. If he doesn't get caught like he did when he was younger anymore we may have a man that could beat Tyson.
But he could get knocked out in his next fight and people's opinions would change very quickly.
