When did Hatton's chin become IRON all of a sudden. Collazo, not known for power had him hurt bad, looking back at it the knockdown should have been called. Floyd, who had 4 KOs in his 11 fights above 130, stopped him. Juan's been working on his power and it seems to be improving. I wouldn't be suprised if he stopped Hatton at all.

Honestly I wouldnt either. Juan workrate is incredible especially late in fights. Latley Ricky has been gassing late and looking not so great.

Right now Diaz is a legit 135 lightweight. When Diaz gets bigger and better (say next year he moves up comfortably) yes i would pick him over Hatton.

Baby Bull is 24 years old and will only get bigger and better as time goes on.

I cant believe people are picking Hatton beating Diaz...

The Baby Bull will throw his combos and will KO him earlier then Mayweather...

Not a chance, sorry. Hatton has too much power, he was punching above his weight @147 but at 140 he will beat Juan.

I guess the lot of you didnt examine the fight against Julio Diaz. Sure, Hatton comes in, tries to muscle his way to some shots, but Juan showed against Julio that he can take a step back and throw combos from various angles. There was one point were juan thew a 5 punch combo CIRCLING around Julio, not just from in front. This is how I would see it pan out.

Hatton gets within strikin distance and Juan unleashes causing Hatton to come in fast would works for him. Of course Hatton tries to tie up so that he can get as close to the body as possible and he'll land a couple of great body shots. But if Juan really isnt affected by these shots, what he will do is just step back and land 3-5 punch combos. I really wouldnt even be surprised if Juan plays Hatton's game and is able to muscle him around too.

One thing about Juan Diaz is that he's always supposed to be stopped by this guy or that guy because of something. Acelino Freitas was supposed to go in there and use his speed to overwhelm Diaz. Julio Diaz was supposed to go in there and use his power to KO Diaz. They both ended up quiting.

This is the mismatch I was referring to. I already said it would be a close fight between Hatton and Diaz.

Ricky Hatton would not be able to throw, he will be moving backwards. There will be hands in his face every single second.

Hatton is too big and too strong and Diaz is too easy to hit. I like Diaz but Hatton will be too much for him at 10st.

Here's a question though: How many people would be picking Diaz prior to Hatton's loss to Mayweather?
