did you guys know henry armstrong held the flyweight, lightweight, and welterweight title.. AT THE SAME TIME

i got stuck watchin espn classic 10 best little men (welterweight and under) of all time

      i couldnt believe that ****

of course sugar ray was #1.. along with hearns, ray leonard, pernell whitaker, carmen basilio, willie pep, ray mancini.. and a few others... i enjoyed learnin about the older fighters...

when you watch that.. you realize.. how floyd isnt really even close to being greatest of all time.. not even greatest welterweight

yeah that was against ceferino garcia. armstrong had beaten garcia before.

the fight that armstrong drew with garcia was only recognized for the california middleweight title, as it was only a 10 round bout.

but garcia was the nysac champ at the time I think, and being the nysac champ was rather prestigious back then.

The thread starter said "throughout history", not "heavyweights in the last 20 years".

Listing Lennox Lewis and John Ruiz among the greatest resumes ever is rather insulting.
