It wasn't his fault, but all of Marciano's big wins were against fighters well past their primes.

I know it wasn't his fault- it's just my two cents. You don't agree?

I'd still have him in the top 10.

For the record, Manny puts Lewis #6.

                  Lennox
I don't know, there have been many many great HWs throughout the years, but Lennox first comes to mind as the most accomplished HW of recent years. I think I'd have to put him in there between 8 & 10.

Yes, I do agree. Basically I was responding to another poster claiming Marciano's reign was better. Both of them definitely belong in the top 10. I also think some of Lennox's second tier opponents (Tua, Ruddock, etc.) were close to their prime and better than most past champion's opposition.

How would you rate them all? Those are IMO the all-time great heavyweights.
As for ranking them, it's hard to say.

Feel free to add some more great heavyweights that I've missed from my list.
                      1. Ali
                      2. Louis
                      3. Larry Holmes
                      4. Lennox Lewis
                      5. Evander Holyfield
                      6. Jack Johnson
                      7. Rock Marciano
                      8. George Foreman
                      9. Sonny Liston
                      10. Jack Dempsy
                      11. Joe Frazier

i dont put Tyson on the list because he was overrated, didn't accomplish alot and didn't go to the olympics. i base my list on what the fighters accomplished and not hype. Tyson has never beaten a great fighter that was in thier prime.
