The guy just turned pro last March, and out of 14 fights, only one of them was against someone with a losing record. After only 2 pro fights, he was holding his own against Jermain, so he can't be too bad. But I see what you're saying, anyone can look good against mediocre and poor competition. Only time will tell.

Andy Lee is, after Arthur Abraham, the second reason why the Pavlik-Taylor rematch is not as meaningful as some think it is.

So what you're saying is he's a top 3 middleweight?

yeah, and Emanual Stewart is already talking about him getting a title fight next year. he needs to step up the competition first, he could turn out to be another Panchito Bahado.

i think andy lee would beat joe greene and a lot of people ont his site think green is a future champ

i met him and he is every bit of 6'2 also... i wouldnt be the least bit surprised if manny put him in against arthur abraham at the first chance

Well it's hard to say anything at the moment; he needs to run through some opponents, but he's togrther techincally and pbhysically. He's clearly a better talent than Pavlik, and I'm expecting he'll be better than Taylor in the long run.

A better talent than Pavlik? THat's a laugher.

Sure, Pavlik doesn't have the type of amateur credentials and the skillset.

But you cannot break that dude out of his rythym.

Lee is a guy to me that fights somewhat in spurts.

Pavlik is a horrible styles matchup for him.

                    Remember i said this.

considering that taylor and pavlik dont really have long term future at middleweight i dont think its crazy to think lee may be top-3 of the remaining guys. i dont see abraham or sturm as worldbeaters.
