No- not his fans. Idiots. I've been around here awhile so I know you're a big Margarito fan but, frankly, I don't rate Antonio any higher than I did before the fight. He's Mayorga caliber- a rough brawler with heart but lacking some basic fundamentals. I think Paul showed that, even at his young age, he had the desire to win- but he has a lot to prove.

All these people saying he'll be pound for pound and that the division fears him are idiots. You don't base pound for pound supremacy off of a single fight- that's idiotic- likewise, fellow boxers don't see you as a threat by beating a single fighter to gain your title. He hasn't defended it, he hasn't unified- calm down, sparky. He has tons to prove. This coming from someone who likes him, too.

He also has way more stamina. He is a much better fighter than Mayorga ever was and that's why he's been the most ducked fighter in the welterweight division for years.

I've seen quite a few of his fights. His shoots aren't as wide and looping as Mayorga but I put them in the same classification of brawlers. He's not the most feared man in the welterweight division...that was hype created before he lost to Williams. That one has already been put to bed.

Cotto gets props for his resume.
Williams gets props for his prospective ability.
