Cotto has been pegged for awhile now as a rough boxer who has a tendency to brawl, use his size, and had serious flaws in his game. He has a HUGE year - boxing well against a fast, skilled, powerful fighter in Judah and knocking him out and then outboxing a crafty veteran in Shane Mosley that looked pretty damn good.

Cotto proved he is a better boxer, with more skill, than his detractors said - how are we taking that away from him?

Because after all.. De La Hoya is old and out of prime.
      Mayweather fought a 154 pounds....and weighed 148....Oscar was well over 160.

Mayweather fought in a small ass ring...to stop his movement.

Mayweather had to fight with small ass gloves....hoping his hands would break.

The Oscar that fought on May 5th would beat Cotto...Margarito...Cintron...Clottey...etc.

LMAO, man i miss those days? Wait...thats still happening today, lol.

Yet, Williams is great because he beat Margarito, lmao.

I think the kiddies here like Williams because of how he carries himself and he sounds like a rapper, all ******s aspire to be like Williams, yo!
When people discuss boxing, basic common sense goes out the window. Deep down they know Margarito is a bad man, they just don't want to admit it.

Oscar was a champion, Mosley was a past his prime contender but still a good fighter.

Convincing means.. IS Wlad Klitschko VS Byrd.. or Mayweather Gatti..

Are you positive Williams would win a rematch???

I am not.. therefore It was not so convincing...
he beat a champion by UD who was in his prime and ducked by plenty of big names, enough said. and Williams would crush Margarito in a rematch. Williams has always had Margaritos number, even in sparring.

Who said he isn't? He does what Arum tells him to do and that may be a fight v. Cotto, i want him to fight Williams again, but i don't see Williams wanting the rematch either, he was outspoken before now he's silent, he got a win and will milk it.

Becaue they are trying to go for the bigger fish in Mayweather, dededeeeee!

Didn't he have a fight with Williams but due to injury pulled out right? So why the ****** question. Him going after Margarito is more dangerous then going after Williams, who will hit and run and hold all night.

Paul Williams is a nobody, is his biggest win really against Margarito? Wow.
