Or what do they call those? Showcase fights?

LMFAO you get to see Williams throwing 1000+ arm slaps a fight where his natural size eventually wears down stationary targets.

Im the biggest Floyd fan in this forum..........I believe Winky at 154 would UD Floyd.....I think Williams beats him and I think a focused Ouma would have a shot.

          Thats all.

            He has called Cotto........Cottos scared.

He offered Marg a rematch....Marg ran scared.

Sooner or later people are going to have to fight him.

He will clean up the 147 and 154 divisions....and be the King of the Sport for a very long time.
That is a very bold statement. Not many guys without power that can rule for too long in boxing. Floyd is an anomaly. That being said, i believe he MIGHT beat the #1 P4P guy right now, mayweather. Maybe. but there are other guys who i believe will beat him, but whatever, he is still a fun fighter to watch.

Williams looked like he was shadowboxing Margarito.

Tony is a tough plodder and won 5 rounds against Williams on my card......turning the heat up late when Williams started to cruise/fade. Anyways.....the right hands Tony was able to land when he pressured Williams only reinforces the idea that Williams really lacks a solid defense and makes up for that with his insane output.

That's great, but you can't throw 130 punches a round against Floyd and not expect to get tagged when you're caught reaching........or expect to land the majority of them. Not on maybe the greatest defensive fighter of all time with respect to Whitaker.
Mayweather is a masterful pure boxer but matching well against a 6'2 volume punching southpaw with great stamina and boxing skills is unlikley. and about Williams defense, just like he said, ''You gotta take suntin to get suntin'' if he takes shots from Margarito, he can take Floyds shots, especially since Floyd does not hit hard against true welterweights. Williams is not Oscar or Hatton, im not saying that Williams is levels above them but since when has Floyd fought a 6'2 southpaw with fast hands and boxing skill? i see Williams confusing Mayweather and making him think, Williams is not predictible so this is not one those fight where Floyd just figures out the opponents style and dominates the second half on the fight. but being the great pure boxer that Floyd is, it will not be a shutout. when Williams comes off the gas pedal in the later rounds, thats when Floyd starts to have success and making it closer on the score cards. i see Williams being very busy in the begining, letting his hands go in volume, tying up on the inside, and catching Floyd with shots from the outside. i know Floyd has great defense but some of Williams shots WILL find the mark, and those rounds will go to Williams because Floyd only throws so many punches in a round now. with that being said, i see Williams out working Mayweather and clinching a contrversial Majority decision.

Yeah being tall isn't everything in this fight.

Tommy Hearns is tall and Hagler didn't have much trouble finding a way to really make that a non factor. I'm not saying Floyd has the metal that Hagler had............but I'm saying he can fight. I mean I've criticized him in the past for running in fights.........yeah he was being too defensive.

Because look what happens when he attacks? He's excellent at standing and trading punches and lol he traded punches with Ricky Hatton toe to toe. And he's taken shots from people before and I think has a good chin. I mean the only time he's really been hurt was against Corley and that didn't last long.

Good little analysis though, we see differently.

Yeah i see what you are saying, Floyd could very well out box him, no doubt. i just think Williams out works him with his crazy work rate and size advantage.

I want to see the fight, with the prospect of them..........fighting. I mean Williams really isn't going anywhere, he's behind that shield of punches.

I know for a fact that once again, Floyd could possibly ruin the fight and do as you say and resort to the 1 and done thing. That sucks, and some times it's hard to score rounds when he does that in coaliton with running and in general........makes the fight dull. But when he fights, it's exciting because of how good a.....fighter he is.
