plain and basic common sense, which most of FMJ/Marg haters lack. DWiens spilled the beans last week that he wasnt even a a boxing fan last year and Asian has written articles in the past that Marg deserved a shot at Floyd and was a threat, but now disses the claim that Marg ever did. They are either misimformed and when you do give them correct information they ignore it, or they just lack plain and basic common sense.

So how did Judah deserve a fight with Mayweather coming off a loss to a journeyman who was a major underdog? At least Margarito lost a fight against an up and coming fighter that was basically a pick'em fight.

The thing is that Mayweather fans turn into their favorite fighter and throw plain and basic common sense out the door. Mayweather loves to say something and contradict himself later and that's exactly what these guys are doing. Mayweather also loves to discredit other fighters so as to make it seem like he's not ducking them because they're not worthy and that's exactly what his fans do.

Floyd already fought at 154, so that makes him a jr. middlweight coming down in weight to pick on the smaller fighters at 147? After all this too is the logic with Margarito right?

Again using the logic of a floyd sinclair fan, "Margarito is not a true welterweight!"
          margaritos fought at 154 too...........

that is exactley the case.. he does this more often then anyother fighter. and they are usually ranked at the top of the division he is campaining at. what a coincidence.

Judah didn't deserve the fight - but it was already set up. I agree that back then, it would have made more sense to fight Margarito. This isn't back then though, it's now, and Margarito has to rebuild. Cintron then a rematch unification with williams would be a start.

In the Judah situation, you're right there was a contract in place. That contract went to pieces when Judah lost. Rather than fight Margarito for a career high payday, Mayweather still chose to fight Judah but the money for the fight was changed and now Mayweather was making like 80% of the money. It was still less than what he would have made for Margarito. The point is that Mayweather could have fought Margarito if he had chosen to, but he decided he didn't want to risk his undefeated record against a man that had a serious shot of beating him and possibly knocking him out.

Now, you're right Margarito should rebuild but Mayweather only has a handful of fights left according to him and I would like to see him fight Margarito, Cotto, or Williams. All three of these men are natural welterweights in their prime and that is the kind of fighter Mayweather needs to face before retiring.

yep well there's no reason Margarito can't get fights with Cintron and Williams in the next 6 month
                    s. If he wins both of them he'll be in line for a mega fight with Cotto, DLH or Floyd.

But more importantly than that, those two wins would make his career pretty decent.

I'd like to see Margarito rematch Cintron, the winner fight Cotto. Williams fight Mayweather, and the winner of that fight the winner of the first group. Saying that Margarito has to beat TWO world champs to be deserving of any Mega fight is a little unfair, don't you think? I mean the guy held a belt for 5 1/2 years and had 7 successful defences before only recently losing it to one of the top 3 guys in the division.
