Margarito is not a true welterweight he came from the 135 pound class

So you see he is not a true welterweight, at least this is the logic to floyds coming from the jr. lightweight division into the welterweight division.

Floyd already fought at 154, so that makes him a jr. middlweight coming down in weight to pick on the smaller fighters at 147? After all this too is the logic with Margarito right?

Again using the logic of a floyd sinclair fan, "Margarito is not a true welterweight!"

Most/ Almost all fighters fight at lighter weights when younger.

Tony weighed in under 135 twice, never over age 16.

Mayweather at 16 won the golden gloves at 106.

        Now cut the crap.

Oscar lost 5 times. Baldomir lost 11 times. Zab lost 5 times. For cryin out loud Muhammed Ali lost 5 times. Does that somehow discount their wins or ability.

Mayweather fought a 154lb (weigh in) Oscar...but he did not bulk up to a solid Jr Middleweight either...

How many welterweights have beaten Margarito in the last 10 years? How long was he ranked #1 by the Ring only to be ducked by champions? Margarito is an elite welterweight whether you want to admit it or not.

well...Margarito did deserve a shot at the welterweight crown, but then he lost to Williams, so as of now this connversation is somewhat late.
