yep but he moved up in weights too much... he should've stayed at super middleweight or atleast light heavy

He liked to eat too much. He was what, 215 lbs a couple months before the Jones fight? No way can you balloon up that much in between fights and continue to make weight and be effective. I think he might still have a couple decent fights in him at cruiser, but I doubt he would want to try and make 200.

Sadly he's done. He had such a great year in '03 then his injuries ruined everything. They stopped his momentum, ruined his focus, deteriated his skills...He still managed to beat Ruiz then the positive roids test.

168 and 190 were his best weights. In fact I wish Toney would have stuck around to fight Mormeck because I think he'd out box him. Same goes for Bell too.

I think he should retire. He could barely get by a no name fighter in a fight that wasn't even televised and then got a suspended for steroid use, he's done all that he can, no point in going on.

If only he could make 210 or even 220, he could still be effective as a gatekeeper for the HW division. I hear he has trouble making even 240 because he balloons up to near 300 between fights. Not sure if it's true though.

yeah I'm not sure if it's a good idea for him to continue his campaign at HW. Because wouldn't it be at least somewhat feasible for him to get back down to 200 and fight Cruiserweight? lmfao. I mean he's naturally like 5'9 170.......and I realize he's getting up in age but 200 would be feasible.

I certainly don't think he can compete with the Giants (Wlad, Valuev).........and when Samuel Peter does an ali shuffle and lands repeated jabs on you easily being a ring general it's time to consider other fight options.

What do you think about a Toney vs Haye fight?

Yeah, he is done. He may try to fight again but it would be a bad decision. He had an outstanding career and it is time to hang them up.
