End Of The Road For James Toney?

Was his last performance the end of the road?
Its a shame he didn't stay at super middleweight or light heavy atleast.

If by end of the road you mean last fight, then no. Toney likes to fight and he can trade off his name for awhile.

Im a huge James Toney fan. I had him in my Avi for a long time. I think it is the end of James, he will never fight on TV again. Its also a shame that he gets remembered for that fight with RJJ, having to lose 50 pounds was a big weight drain. A rematch at 175 would have been great but we can thank RJJ for never knowing. A great fighter from middle to heavy, his record speaks for itself.

Yep, He looked drained in the jones fight, at 175, it would've been a lot closer.

He can still beat up 90% of the world .
It's up to him and how well he trains from this point on.
His body is older and starting to break down more often so he's going to need to stay in the best shape he can between fights.
All that going up and working back down is taking a major toll which may not show so well at this time but sooner or later he will 'get old over night' as they say.

I just hope he can win another HV title without the 'X' before he's done.

In my opinion, for him to make a comback at this stage he needs to get his weight around 215-220 other wise it's lights out for james toney
