Pacquiao's Straight Left vs. Mayweather's Straight Right

Floyds straight right is better. he is not one demsenional like Pac so people do not expect the lead right, hes not predictible. Pacquiao's straight left can be figured out and countered because he IS predictible.Comment

actually yes., Hatton has a huge size advantage over Pac so Pacs shots wont be all that hard to him. If Hatton could take Collozo and Tyszu's, he could take Pacquiaos shots easily. Pac started his career at straw weight or something like that.Comment

Pac comes into the ring 144 fight night, is the same height as Hatton, with a much longer reach, so there's not as big of a size advantage as you might think. Collazo was/is not a big power puncher and he had Hatton down and almost out in their fight. Ricky was able to foul and smother Tszyu enough so that Kostya could not land hard, clean punches on Ricky's mug.
Manny turned pro at 16, at Light Flyweight. At 16, Floyd was winning a golden gloves title at guess what weight? Light Flyweight.
Pac's 29 now, and like Floyd has matured into a much heavier build than when he first started.Comment

One straight right from Mayweather was enough to open up Hatton...
So sssssssssshhhhhh....
And are people still arguing that Manny would beat Mayweather? I haven't read the whole thread, but if people on here ACTUALLY still think this, it could be the most ******ed bunch of ass hats I have encountered. I'm mean, really, the I.Q of a piece of toast.Comment

The thread is about the better, more effective punch, taking in to account their respective weight divisions. No one wants to see Pac, already up 5 weight divisions from where he won his first world title, jump up 3 more to fight Floyd. Floyd has at least 2 much more competitive fights at WW in Cotto and Williams. One straight right from Mayweather was enough to open up Hatton...

If PAC really fought Hatton at 140, he would just be blown up and slow. hes just coming up from junior lightweight and he would be fighting a man that is a natural junior welterweight that blows up to 185 in between fights? i just cant see PAC doing well at all in this fight. he would just get bullied and muscled around the ring like a rag doll. even if he does come in at 144, hes still past his weight that hes suppose to be at. i dont think that there would be any point in me watching it if this fight DID happen. Hattons power would be devestating to PAC. just look at the Mayweather/Hatton fight, Floyd has not got a stoppge in about 2 years and once he fought a fighter that was blown up (Hatton) he showed power. i see the same result but worse if Hatton and Pac fought. matter of fact, there is no guarentee that Pac is going to make it past Marquez. looking past a fighter that you barley got past the first time is not the way to go. Marquez has a good chance of winning this fight.Pac comes into the ring 144 fight night, is the same height as Hatton, with a much longer reach, so there's not as big of a size advantage as you might think.
