Straight left. His 'Manilla Ice' sucks.
And btw- he throws one hundred MORE, too. Not as successful. That should factor in.
You can either seriously refute it, or just stop being so damn cynical.Comment

a "better" punch should also take into account how much it is used, how accurate you are, how effective you are at using it, and so forth. To me, better means, how much damage the punch does to the opponent; effective punching. Given that, Pac's punches, all of them, are "better" than Floyd's. Don't overrate Floyd's offensiveness. He is defensive fighter who brings his offense on late after his opponents tire.Comment

Any comparison is ridiculous in my mind - but we all have our own way of looking at things. Pacquiao has built himself into one of the greatest in the game almost entirely based on his straight. It's ****ing special.
You'd have to have a ****ing hole in your head to see it any other way.Comment

Floyd's is much less predictable and efficient I think, though Pacquiao uses his straight left better now than he did in past fights like his first with Marqeuz, where he pretty much used it all fight long and started getting countered left and right with it.Comment

Hatton ate what, a hundred of those straight rights from Floyd, without a hell of a lot of effect. Do you really think he would take that many flush lefts from Pacquiao, especially factoring in the weight difference?Comment
