BTW I view Monzon alot like the way I view Hopkin's wins over DLH/trinidad.

    ko's over smaller fighters.

I dont view Monzon as a 'finisher', and never will for the life of me.

By watching more than a few seconds of footage of him on youtube is probably where he got the correct idea that Monzon was a great finisher.

Stopping Napoles(granite chin and great boxing skills), Griffith(again, not so much a granite chin but a great fighrer) and Benvenuti prove his skills as a finisher.

Your analysis of him is so painfully lame, and it makes me laugh that you feel you have the right to criticize other posters with such little knowledge yourself. He was a cold, calculating fighter. One who had very good power, very underrated, but his best aspect was his timing. While not exceptionally fast, he was very large for his weight class with a very long reach. He would paw out the jab to find you and measure you, and once he measured you, would flick the jab out, and catch you with the long right hand that followed if you managed to escape the jab. His timing was impeccable. This is why he was able to stop so many fighters, sustained and built up punishment, coming all night. His height, reach, and timing were what made him a great finisher, despite the fact that a novice like you wouldn't call him entertaining, he was very effective.

Napoles was a career 147 guy. Tell me how small Griffith usually weighed in at (around 158, prick), and Nino B. Dont even get me started on his career weight.

You dont know what you're talking about.

Finishes against smaller guys, like I said.

You probably call Hopkins a finisher too.

            Idiot.

Napoles was small, but again, was about as good a win as DLH or Tito for Hopkins, even better really. Griffith rates around my top 10 best MW's of all time, even though his best weight was 147. Griffith more than proved himself at MW by beating guys like Tiger, Archer, and Benvenuti.

Nino Benvenuti was a career MW, you prove you don't have a clue what you're talking about when you questioned that one.

I was talking about Nino being a small mw. The wop.

Like I said bro. I didn't even need to do my research.

                I compared Monzon to Hopkins.

Career BEST wins over guys like DLH/Trinidad and Griffith/Napoles.

                Truth hurts.

Awwwww, did I touch a nerve again? Is widdle Azteca upset?

I noticed you get especially upset when someone owns you in a topic you actually assume yourself to have knowledge in. I have you in my back pocket son, just give it up.

Griffith also beat Monzon the second time.

Nino wasn't really a small MW, he was just small compared to Monzon. Monzon can't help that he's bigger than fellow MW's.

Monzon rates above Hopkins because the natural MW's he beat were much better(Valdez, Briscoe, Benvenuti), and the smaller guys he beat were better and more accomplished at higher weights(Griffith and Napoles).
