I dont though. I havn't seen a whole lot of Martiro but I've always enjoyed Chavez Jr's fights to this point and have been waiting for him to step up the opposition.

i doubt chavez would get ko'd like that......can vanes handle a good body shot right on the button or an uppercut to the jaw?....so many questions that hopefully one day will be answered.........

Im not really interrested in the KO itself, just the overall boxing teqhnique, speed and power...

post some of Jr's fights lets make some comparisons. I think it would make for a great fight 1 or 2 years down the line.

ya I guess same could be said for your boy Berto... who also would make for a good fight against Vanes.

They are good friends and have fought twice in the amateurs leading up to the 2004 Olympics. Berto won the first, Vanes won the second and took the last spot on the US team leaving Berto out.

2008 is gonna be a great year for rising prospects/contenders.
