Oscar physically could've gotten up, he just didnt want anymore. Just like Castillo/Hatton. There is no conspiracy theory.

oscar was too small for b-hop to engage in a toe-to-toe battle. props to him for taking the fight. that left to the rib cage part of the body had really hurt him. we saw things like that happened like the penalosa vs former batam champ in Jhonny Gonzalez, some cotto fight etc..

De la Hoya should get a grammy for the good acting.. I always thought he went down on his own... Castillo did the same with hatton. I dont blame him tho. he wasnt even getting paid to fight him.

i dont like de la hoya but for a guy to cry and scream for an investigation after losing to mosely the 2nd time, i find it hard to believe that he would throw a fight. The man has tremendous pride for what he has accomplished both in and out of the ring, and he should, there is no way he took a dive.

What made me think and still makes he think he took a dive was in the corner B-Hop kept saying "this is my rd"..like he knew something was going to happen in that rd.

That is exactly what I did when I got a perfect shot to the liver. Well, I didn't roll around much but it really, really ****ing hurt. I went down after a delay when the pain suddenly hit and made my legs give way. I kept saying, half yelling "F$%^, F^%$, F%$^!!!" You feel your breath is gone from the pain but it hasn't. It is consistent 'cause it takes him a second for the pain to hit. You can see he gets hit, takes a couple of steps then the pain hits and he goes down. That is exactly what happens. When you get hit with a perfect body shot it takes about 2 seconds to register but when it does a paralyzing pain spreads through your torso and your legs give out...The other guy saying he got hit with a body shot but just didn't want to go down so he didn't, did not get hit with a perfect body shot. You have NO choice in the matter. If it is right on the money it just spreads through your whole body, your legs give way, you can breath but it feels like you can't because of the pain. It is unlike any other shot you can get hit with. You can't recover properly from it, the pain is unlike any other pain which you can push away with a strong will. Hopkins hit him with a perfect body shot. It doesn't have to be super hard, just pin point perfect on the spot where the liver is closest to the skin.
How many times y'all see Gatti take a million head shots and never go down then one perfect liver shot from Ward and he is ****ed! Or check out Tszyu landing the perfect liver shot on Hurtado. Brutal fight until that shot when it just takes all the fight out of him.
It wasn't set up. Go ask someone with a good left hook to practice on you and then come back and say Oscar took a dive.

There are no exceptions to this rule.. Yelling requires the full use of your lungs..

I'm speaking from experience. I got sunk by a perfect body shot before and it's pretty awful. Kind of like being kicked in the nuts, it feels like you can't breath but your lungs are still working. And by all appearances it looks like Oscar got hit with the kind of glancing liver blow that hurts the most. It's simply not possible to stand back up.
