i have to think that if odlh was going to take a dive he may use something a bit more subtle as a cue! just a thought!Comment

Oscar De La Hoya was among the best paid names in boxing at the time. He's not exactly fogger for taking a dive.Comment

I'm very skeptical about conspiracies usually. First time I heard this theory I dismissed it out of hand. But that is VERY su****ious.
If I decided to take a dive it would be with a body shot. It's more defficult to fake if it was a head shot with replays. But with a body shot it's easier to fake.
There was little chance of DLH winning this after his performance with Sturm. He clearly didn't carry the weight well. The motive is what is sketchy, but after the fishnet scandal I wouldn't put anything past DLH.Comment

It was a bull**** dive, period. Been calling that since the day it happened.
I also believe he let Floyd win. Oscar did not fight to win agaisnt MayWaether. Another bull**** loss. I think he said to himself; "After getting robbed vs. TiTo, and beated by Mosley...this is all bull**** anayway."Comment

I am never buying a DLH fight again, unless it's against Cotto, to see him get his fishnet wearing ass beat down.Comment

Doesn't ANYONE see the Irony in all of this????
Here you have Oscar .. screaming "It Hurts.. I CAN'T BREATHE..I CAN'T BREATHE"
Did anyone bother telling Oscar how much breath is needed to scream??...If one has the wind Knocked out of them... Screaming is the last thing you can do..Right there.. It's Obvious he is fakingComment

No, he was just telling Hopkins what to do (probably something Hopkins worked on), and when it was evident that Bernard's pressure affected Oscar, the same guy started mockingly saying Oscar's name (Oh, Oscar!"), in a clear indication that he wasn't on his side. There was no reason whatsoever for DLH to take a dive, he'd get nothing out of it.Comment
