Witter is like a flea on Hatton's back, always looking for a free ride. He should worry about making his own name and take on some real names in the States. Then they could get it on.

After that it will be Malignaggi because it means he can fight in MSG which means Witter is out the picture until 2009 and I'm guessing it will be the mid to late part of the year.
Who is Hatton fighting in the UK next, why not Witter?

Then he can fight Paulie, who won the title from someone Witter had previously beaten. Paulie also was brutally beaten up against Cotto...much different than losing to a young Zab Judah, 7 years ago.

Hatton should just not fight Witter then. He is already 33, will be 34 in 2009.
You made him wait this long, you should just ride it out and never give him a shot.

I don't make the decisions I'm just telling you what will happen. Personally, I would rather Hatton just dealt with Witter and shut him up once and for all but it is just as funny watching Witter chase something he isn't going to get.

I'm just guessing but I think he will fight a British light welterweight.

Gavin Rees is from Wales and his trained by Enzo. Or is that a no-go since I just read he is promoted by Frank Warren.

Never saw him fight so I will have to see what I can find on youtube.

I think that is a possibility because Hatton and Warren agreed they "might work together" in the future as part of a court settlement which I took to mean that Hatton agreed to let Warren promote one of his fights. However, Enzo Calzaghe seemed to think that Hatton didn't deserve a shot at Rees' title because he was coming off a loss.

That's good to hear and WTF. Did Enzo forget the fight was at 147 against Floyd Mayweather Jr.?

If Hatton thinks he can beat Floyd as he says he does, he should do what ever it takes to avenge that loss. Hes earned enough money to live the rest of his life more than comfortably. He should fight Floyd for nothing if it means he gets another shot
If he believes in his heart that he cant beat Floyd or cotto for that matter he should retire, theres nothing left for him to prove at 140. There is no point him fighting british jww's in England
