So Floyd gets no credit for boxing because he's a BOXER? The above is possibly the least inspired comment ever made on this forum.

So two weeks after Floyd himself said that Hatton was his toughest fight he didn't do very well?

He said the toughest ever? Can you cite that quote please? Thanks.

That would be one of the toughest. Not 'the toughest'. I win via better listening skills and accurate citation.

I win because I'm immune to having history rewritten. The way some people are carrying on in a month's time Hatton will have suffered a ten round beatdown. I'm trying to prevent that from happening and from maintaining a bit of perspective.

His footwork on the night was terrible, he was getting beat on the inside and he tired early. He didnt do anywhere near as good as Judah and yet he is getting so much credit for his performance.
I don't think It's the fact that anyone truly thinks that the fight was real close or that Hatton was a punch away from pulling off the upset It's the fact that Hatton showed so much heart(and when you show heart even In defeat your stock rises).Hatton did not get discouraged he just kept after Floyd trying to find a way to win and you have to respect him for that.

It was a very close fight until round 8, when Hatton noticably started tiring. It was a good fight, and would have been a classic had Joe Cortez not intervened in the first 5 rounds. Anybody that says this fight was a Floyd blowout has got **** for brains.

Cortez SUCKS. He rode Hatton until he was wet, and then let Floyd take over. That's the truth of the matter.

What the posters are pointing out (in favor of Mayweather) is what Teddy Atlas pointed out afterwards, it really wasn't that close...Floyd was in control and everything was working accordingly to his game-plan.

That's why I brought up Hannibal vs. the Romans in a previous post: Battle of Cannae.

All that mauling and rough house **** actually played a part in making Hatton tired besides the body and head shot that PBF was landing. That rough house **** is different when somebody is will to give it right back to you. I told people your stamina is different when you get hit more than you have ever been hit in your life. Hatton made the fight ugly but he didn't land any significant punches.

People overrating Judah's performance. Judah won 3 rounds and was on his way to being KO'ed until the low blow and rabbit punch ****.

Damn that shows how really great PBF is when its such an accomplishment for Judah to have won 3 rounds possibly 4 against PBF.

Does anybdy have the official scorecards of the Judah-PBF fight?

Hatton's key mistake was forgetting that Floyd is a FIGHTER, and he wouldn't mind getting his hands dirty in te ring.
