Lots of racism, lots of b.s. which made me pull for Floyd even more and was hoping for the KO because if it went the distance, Floyd loses. Even now, Floyd cheated so no winning, but at least we can see that KO over and over.

How can you blame a fighter for moving, especially that version of Floyd who was moving in and out, throwing combinations and was exciting.

Similar with Wlad and jabbing people to death. Sure, I wouldn't mind him throwing the right-hand more, but I am finding it funny that he is destroying people with a jab only.
What people don't get is. He does what he has to. He jabs, sure, but what else are people MAKING him do. He has some other weapons, just doesn't need to use them. He will, I think, when needed. People always say all these fighters should do everything, all the time. Everytime in the ring. That's nonsense. Because it's those same smart fans who then mock the fighter when he gets hit with a shot and beaten, because he didn't coast, and went for the finish when it wasn't needed.

If you can get it, go for it. If not, don't force it.

I agree, though. That cheating nonsense is insane. Neither fought clean, and none of it mattered, in the end. I don't get what hatton fans wanted. If it was a REALLY clean fight fought at a distance, Hatton gets killed. If it's a rough fight, it has to be allowed to be rough, FOR BOTH, which it was, and then we KNOW who wins.

Hatton wasn't Mr. Nice Guy in there. Y'know?

Witter will end up like Archie Moore. Keep fighting everybody while you are avoided by the Champion. This is also why Archie decided to dish out a huge sum of money to promote his calling out of Rocky Marciano, and it still took time.

Witter has not lost since 2000 and that was against a PRIME Zab Judah. He is 33 years old, and has won a title. What more does he have to do?

Paulie talks more trash than any fighter and yet he is deserving of a shot?

I would be pissed off too if I was 33, haven't lost in 7 years against a great fighter, and is constantly being avoided by someone in your own country.
ZAB Judah was 23 when he fought Witter... Modern athletes Hit their "primes" around 28 years old now.... Just thought I would share that with you...

I admit, I wanted to see them fight back in the 90s, and thought Hatton would bulldoze him

But since Witter switched into an attacking counter-puncher who sits down on his shots, I've picked Witter and still do

Haha I remember that well. Witter thought he would try and step into Ricky's spotlight and was taken down with a one-liner. "Lord of the Dance." Classic.

Funny. Now that title goes to Ricky, for dancing around a real threat.

Yeah, boxers call it their "Man stage/strength" kicks in.

I think it has something to do with hormones...maybe an increase of DHT in the system, not sure.

Shame Tyson and Ali lost valuable years, although Tyson threw it away anyway so it doesn't matter much for him.

Ali was really filling out with the Williams fight.

Witter has been calling out Hatton for Years, and I have been saying for Years Hatton wont fight him. Slick southpaw with power = Danger + Hatton's prone to cuts.

Witter is slicker than Collazo and Magee

I think Hatton would kick Malignaggi's butt, but I have been saying this for time and I still say it Witter = Trouble for anyone at 140, and if Hatton does'nt fight him, I dont blame him at all.
