    Ivan Calderon's last fight...

did anyone see it? vs Juan Esquer.Man i hate to admit it, but i thought he lost. He made Esquer miss a lot but he didnt come back with enough shots. Calderon looked great vs Cazares but i dunno what happened in this fight. Esquer was just so determined and so happy to be there man he fought his heart out. He seemed so sure he won too and was heartbroken when Calderon got the decision. I love Calderon but I scored that fight for Esquer. It was a pretty close fight though could have gone either way. One judge had it 118-110 for Calderon which is ridiculos. I could have seen a 115-113 swing either way i guess.

In all honesty, Calderon is gonna have a lot of trouble beating the best in this division unless he starts letting his hands go a LOT more.

I dunno i just get tired of having the same old username after a while lol. Yea me and that fine lady are still together, everythings going good so far.

Yea Maybe that Cazares fight did take a little out of him. I had him winning that fight but maybe when he was hurt and went down that took some confidence out of him. He didnt look his normal self in his last fight to me.

what are you trying to indicate? Im biased towards Mexicans? I am part Puerto Rican and part Mexican. Calderon is one of my favorite fighters and i had no idea who Juan Esquer was. Im just calling the fight how i saw it. Did you even see the fight?

I want to see Calderon vs Ulises Solis. I think thats the best matchup at 108 right now. I think Solis has two wins over Edgar Sosa and hes on a great winning streak.

Yes, and Calderon was effectively countering with with stiff jabs all night. How on earth do you think the punch stats came out so incredibly one sided?

Calderon put on a gorgeous onesided display of pure boxing.

Calderon is overrated. It is painfully obvious. The people who consider him the best pure boxer in the sport are dreaming. He has too many problems with fighters he just shouldn't.
