Corrales ,Castillo had a great fight but for me they are not Elite fighters they wont go down as Elite Lightweights like Mosley & J C Chavez
DLH was no longer elite when Floyd fought him. Hatton isn't/never was elite, and Corrales and Castillo were both better than Hatton.

Straw most of his career, only the last 3 fights at light fly. Plus he got a draw before he reached 49 wins. Still pretty amazing what he did though, glad he stayed retired.

The fact that there is a whole thread discussing "can he be the greatest ever?" is a testament to his greatness already. No ones having this discussion about Cotto, Oscar, or Margarito.

What's really funny is you mentioning Cotto and Margarito in the same sentence with DLH. DLH is already considered top 40 of all time, but since his skills have greatly diminished, there's not much chance of him improving his standing.

I agree with you. Im smoking some good weed right now. What the hell was I thinking? I will never mention Oscar & Margarito in the same sentence again. Oscar is 1 of my top 40 all time easily.

i was just watching PBF Soul of a Champion & he said he thought he was the best fighter ever ,i personally disagree but what in your eyes would cement that theory that he is the best fighter ever

                  excuse the spelling etc
If he beats Cotto and then somehow beats Williams(who I can't see much of a way for him to beat) I will have him top 15 of all time. I seriously doubt he does that though. If he did that I wouldn't have a problem with someone rating him above Whitaker even. But as I said, I seriously doubt he can or will even attempt to do that.

What about his biggest test, Paul Williams? Why beat old men like Mosley and Forrest, especially when Mosley has shown he has little chance at this stage of his career?

Cotto is the must-have, and if he somehow beats Williams I will be amazed and his status will raise quite a bit in my books.
