This isnt UFC, in Boxing the fighters that are names make the money not the promoters.

Everybody got paid in this fight, but Hatton and Floyd made the bulk.

I know that. I'm talking about the promotional slice that "Mayweather Promotions" got. I'm just saying that bit was probably negligible. A few hundred thousand dollars.

Do you even know what that means? I'll tell you, it means NOTHING. "Mayweather Promotions" isn't even a functional organization. They have one fighter and do no actual promoting. Floyd got a very SMALL slice of the promotional cut as part of his contract, as did a half-dozen other "promotions." GBP promoted the fight.

Hatton likely made twice what Floyd did on this fight.

How did you know how much cut Mayweather promotion would have made from the fight? If Mayweather is self-promoted how do you figure he would get a small slice of the cut? Mayweather will be a great and better chance of making money from this fight than Hatton..Saying Hatton will make more than Mayweather in this fight is just another way of some people consoling themselves after Hatton got KO....

And do u not think that Oscar gets his cut off of Floyd as well? Oscar gets an overall cut of what the gate and ppv's pull in.
