No doubt.....but I seriously don't think Lacy should fight anyone of note without another tune up.

I'll assess him on his performance. Manfredo isn't an easy opponent to beat, he is underated imo. What a fight Miranda-Lacy would be though :P

haha why does it not surprise me that a Joe Calzaghe fan would say Peter Manfredo is underrated? hmmm maybe because thats one of Joe C's biggest wins, just a thought....Sergio Mora and Alfonso Gomez both beat Manfredo and they're small guys, Lacy barely even hurt Manfredo and wouldve lost if Peter boxed the whole fight. I never want to see Lacy fight again, from here on out, Im sure hes just a stepping stone and a name on a resume for real fighters. Hes slow, doesnt box, and been exposed as not hitting as hard as people once thought, pretty much time to call it a career, in my eyes.

...Lacy was just emberassing. I think that Calzone ass kicking he took just totally ruined him. That and his 'trainer' is more of a football coach then a boxing coach.

But seriously, it looks to me like Lacy has lost that fire. He doesn't come out anymore like he wants to knock the other persons block off...and honestly Manfredo Jr is a decent opponent, he has some very good skills he just isn't much of an athlete. Roach wouldn't take on someone who wasn't good, thats for sure.

If you were from a different planet, and knew nothing about boxing, from the way RAESEED talked about Joe and Jeff in his last post, you could be forgiven for believing Jeff knocked Joe out. I was merely reminding him that his boy got schooled, and now hes gone off to sulk somewhere.

Ok, What I ment was Manfredo's boxing skills are underrated and he does have Freddie Roach in his corner. Saying that, I always had the opinion he could slim down to Light Middleweight without much trouble.
