Theres a fine line between courage and ******ity. Jeff Lacy crossed that line and then some.

And he didnt really "come back", hes been scared to throw too many punches in case someone opens him up again like Joe did, Jeff Lacy is shot, he should retire like a man before he gets hurt, and thats showing no disrespect, he really isnt the fighter he once was.

He wasnt "classy" before Calzaghe, how you could possibly think it of the Lacy who struggled to beat Manfredo is mystery.

He's always been classy......And graceful in defeat.

And I'll tell you how because I am a fan of my fighter and always will be win or lose....disappointed in his recent performance yes....but willing to drop him like all these fair weather fans on these boards....I will not.

You might not drop him as a favourite fighter, but you are still unwilling to accept honest criticism of him, which happens to be the truth.

Jeff Lacy is a bum, he wasnt before Calzaghe, but after Joe ruined him, he has nothing left and should retire. I'm sorry if you dont like it but thats the way boxing is sometimes, and when its one of your favourite fighters, the truth hurts.

I will accept constructive criticisim of him like he looked like a bum or what not but to flat out call an olympic medalist and classy fighter who took one bad loss like a man and a serious injury has really limited him since then a BUM is just hate......He is not a bum sorry.....and even if he never wins another fight will never be a bum....bums quit like Tyson or Acelino Freitas.
