Can't they do some kind of test of boxing knowledge before allowing people to post on this site? It would be wise, and would keep people like this out of intelligent conversations.

Lol @ Kaczmarec giving Oscar the 10th round. That was some seriously shady judging on his part.

Mayweather would not outbox Hearns, that's preposterous.

Williams I truly believe would decision Mayweather comfortably. Floyd is a tremendous boxer, don't get me wrong, but he has always had the luxury of beating on smaller or limited opposition who were tailor made for the loss.

Williams is a huge exception. Williams would be favored, or should be by those who know boxing (Steward, etc). Floyd would be on the outside of Williams eating that jab and combos all night. It would be Floyd who would be dwarfed and would have to take the risks. He has never been close to being in such a problematic situation. And Williams is no fluke, he is a beast, smart, tough, can fight when cut, great endurance, non stop punches, slaps mixed with power. I can see no way in hell Mayweather can deal with Williams.

Seriously, Williams, though hsi career is incomplete, he could be the all-time best welterwegiht champ. Robinson, Duran, Leoanrd would all be in an awful mess trying to deal with Paul Williams IMO. Hearns v Williams would be Paul's toughest test. Paul Williams humble personality belies what a great effective and talented fighter he is.

What does Floyd do? Hearns was outboxing Leonard pretty handily, who is better than Floyd at everything other than defense. Please tell me Floyd's approach to even fighting Hearns.
see thats what I mean. You guys are talking about 2 totally different things then me and thats not fair. Your talking about a straight WW matchup and Im talking about P4P. Thats how people always try to judge Floyd and its not fair at all. Manny Steward use to say that "Floyd is good but he's not great like everyone says. I wouldnt even think about putting him in the class of SRL & Hearns". Then I also read articles about how Hearns or SRL would kill Floyd.

Then I always fire back like this. People are looking at the fight as a WW thing and thats not fair. I said that if your going to compare Floyd vs those guys then you have to do it in a P4P sense or at the least you have to give Floyd more fights to fill in as a WW. Steward was saying that during the Oscar fight. Ofcourse Floyd isnt going to look as good as Hearns & SRL when they were natural WW's who starterd there career's there and finished at LHW while Floyd started at 130 and moved up unaturally. If you judge them in a P4P sense then Floyd definatly is right there with them. If your going to be fair then you would have to compare them at WW to Floyd at 130 and he more then compares with them. Isnt that true? Then you look at the fact that Floyd did much better at the higher weights then those guys did, much better. Like you and alot of others say, SRL was way better then Floyd at everything except D. No he wasnt. You say that because your judging them as WW's and SRL was huge there while its Floyd's 4th division. Is SRL faster at WW then Floyd is at 130? Does he hit harder at WW then Floyd did at 130? Floyd was stopping everyone back then. Is he faster or hit harder at SMW then Floyd at WW? No way again.

Its so unfair when people do that. Thats why when I talk about the Hearns boxing, I made it clear that I was talking about P4P. How can you judge Floyd straight up when he came into the ring for all his WW fights at 146 and Hearns was like 162 and natural? If you say P4P who is the better pure boxer then what would you say? Floyd is better then Hearns. If Floyd had started his career at WW and was natural there like he was at 130 then your telling me that you dont think Floyd can box with Hearns? You dont think his power & speed would be where SRL's is? Remember when I said that if your going to judge them just at WW then to wait for Floyd to atleast grow some more. The good thing is that Floyd is finally starting to do that. He's much healthier now at the weight then he was against Zab & Baldy. He'll never be a real WW, let alone a big one but you can already see him now being close to SRL & Hearns. He probally wouldnt beat them but he is close to them when he's at his 4th weight and clearly isnt a real WW so he has to be tied or better then them in a P4P sense and has to be tied or better then Hearns as a pure boxer in a P4P sense. Again, I think he's better

I keep seeing posts on who their prototypical boxer or boxing style is to beat PBF. Just stop, there is no outboxing him. He can fight on the outside, inside, wherever. He'll feast on you whether you are aggressive or play it defensively. He's faced every style now, and has come out on top every time.

The only way knock him TFO. And even that will take a one in a million punch.
Lightweight Pernell Whitaker, Welterweight Thomas Hearns, Welterweight Sugar Ray Robinson, Welterweight Sugar Ray Leonard. All of the names i just mentioned could out box Mayweather.

thats ageneralized statement he has never fought a guy who lived and died on his boxing skills, it would be interesting to see him fight someone like that see if he could be the aggressor.
