yeah he knocked him down, didn't exactly have him on ***** street though otherwise he would have gone in for the kill which he didn't.

I think the fact that he has very few Ko's on his record says something because he would have had plenty of chances to sit down on his punches whilst coming through the ranks.

Given Hattons style and the fact that Paulie is a boxer and doesn't sit down on his punches it's hard to see him all of a sudden going away from something that has worked for his entire career and slugging it out in what would be the biggest fight of his career so far. I just don't see it.

    stranger things have happened though.

He'll need to do more than buzz Hatton. Hatton took several big shots from Mayweather.

Quite possibly. But it will also be interesting to see if Hatton left anything at the MGM.

Malignaggi does not have the power to keep Hatton off him, but I still think he has a chance of winning the fight. I like both of these guys, I will be happy for whoever wins.

Paulie does not have power everyone knows that..but he does have defense and boxing skill's..and he is a lefty like Collazo, and Paulie has heart he fought Cotto like a lion man..the kid showed alot in that fight. I think he will get a UD over Hatton, Hatton should stay away from him if he doesnt want another loss.

Is he a southpaw? If he is then Hatton will struggle.

hatton gasses after a few rounds.. try not to expel too much energy early and come on strong in the later rounds..
That's a really good strategy with one minor flaw: Hatton doesn't gas after a few rounds. Oh he did once, against Urango, when he was ill. But other than that, no he does not.

I was having this exact conversation with Steve Forbes the other day. You can have all the skills in the world but if you can't get respect from your opponent with some kind of power he's going to walk you down all night. You can only go so far without substantial punching power.

yeah. This is it. If your not going to get hurt, nothing is going to put you out of your stride. If you get a referee who splits them up every 10 seconds, Paulie still loses. I like this guy though he is funny, he is doing the right thing calling out Hatton. He'll get well compensated for it.
