Does Maliganaggi Have The Power To Keep Hatton Off Him?

You guys always miss the point. Power has nothing to do with anything. He definatly has the skill the keep him off of him and the power to keep him honest. People act like they dont know that Paulie is a boxer. Most guys like him are always going to be on the under side of the power matchups but theyve fought there whole life like that so it doesnt bother them one bit.
The question shouldve been does Paulie have the "strength" to keep Hatton off of him. Thats the main question. There's a big difference between strength & power. Hatton walking him down and coming hard all night wont bother him at all but what would bother him is Hatton just wrestling all fight and getting away with all that holding & hitting. Floyd is strong enough to go through that but I dont know if Paulie is. Its going to come down to what the ref allows. If the ref allows just a normal fight then Paulie has a great chance but if he lets Hatton basically just wrestle, grab, and fight like he's in the UFC then I dont think Paulie is strong enough to get out of thatComment

i disagree, he does not have the power OR the speed what so ever. He is slick as hell, and dont think i am bias'd against paulie, i payed good money to go watch the n dou fight at mohegan sun. But ricky will cut that ring off all ****in day, i see paulie having his moments, and even his few rounds. But hatton but UD or late tko, no doubt in my mind.Comment

again, one thing that everyone is overlooking is that they assume he will be the same guy again. He just loss for the 1st time and that takes alot out of you. He's also been in a bunch of tough fights recently where he's takened alot of punishment and was dominated late by Floyd. He seriously may not be that same fighter ever again and once you lose one time its always easier for you to lose againComment

paulie will win, hatton has been running out of gass for 2 years now....paul will survive just fine the first 6 rounds (4-2 for hatton), en route to sweep the last 6 rounds and win a 116-112 decision(by the way, after mosley, paulie has been cotto's hardest fight IMO...)
the problem with paulie is taht he likes to clinch as well and as his name isnt floyd mayweather, referee's will allow hatton to do his dirty ****....and he could cripple paul witha body shot....but even in a clinch i think paulie will be able to evade the body punches....Comment
