I can't believe people are writing off Hatton after one loss to the best fighter in the world.

I have a better question: does Malignaggi have the defensive skills to keep Hatton at bay?

I want Ricky to absolutely slaughter this chump. Paulie Malinaggi wants to be Floyd Mayweather so much, it's embarassing.

No, i'm pointing out the danger of underestimating somebody's power that you haven't felt.

I don't feel Paulie is that feather-fisted. I think he is just such a mover that he never sits on his punches.

I firmly believe that Paulie can hurt Hatton.

I like Paulie Malignaggi. And I hope (and expect) that he boxes Ricky up like a Christmas package.

I like Hatton more than Malinaggi but it would be kinda cool if Malinaggi pulls it off in spite of his total lack of power. Generally I go for the American fighter anyway. Plus, Hatton was saying that he would retire before 30 so he seemingly is not serious about becoming a top ATG guy.

His record would have to disagree with your assertion, he has a grand total of 5 KO's. He is lacking in the power department in my opinion.

But I agree with you re underestimating someone's power. Anyone can get caught at any time.

No because Hatton's step-in is very fast. Hatton WILL get into Paulie's chest so Paulie's strength will be a key factor to the outcome of this bout.

Was it N'Dou that Paulie knocked down? And, if I remember, he buzzed Cotto also.

                    My money is on Brooklyn.

i wouldnt bet on this fight..
i see it 2 ways.. hatton keeps comming and paulie cant handle the overwhelming pressure.
                      or
paulie displays his great boxing ability like he did on ndou..

oo btw.. i have a lil strategy for paulie.. hatton gasses after a few rounds.. try not to expel too much energy early and come on strong in the later rounds..

if any1 didnt notice. mayweathers rounds are always 8-12.. its a pattern.. he always comes on strong on those rounds..
