      Mayweather vs, Chavez at 140?
You have got to be ****ting me man.
Mayweather by a BLOWOUT. And it would be fun to watch too.

      Mayweather ain't no Meldrick Taylor.
And Chavez got a ****ing birthday present, wrapped in a Christmas stocking with that bull**** stoppage of Taylor.

      Oh yeah, **** Richard Steele.

Seriously, I think Mayweather would win. I don't think so at 135, but at 147. Maybe 140 too.

By dominate, do you mean rightyfully win a relatively close fight? You should mean that.

Nonetheless, Chavez beats him at anything below 147. Mayweather outboxes him at 147.

Chavez beating Mayweather at 140? Are you serious?
Damn, you think Mayweather is good right now at 147.
At 140, Chavez would get SMASHED. It would not be a good look for JCC after 8 rounds with Mayweather at 140. It wouldn't even be much of a match actually.

Chavez is top 3 at 140, all time. Mayweather, not so much. Maybe he would/could have been. You have no actual proof of that though, now do you?

              Where is your "PROOF"?
Last time I saw, DLH DESTROYED JCC.
              TWO times.

But wait, that was when DLH was in his prime...

              BULL****.
Mayweather beat DLH, after his convincing win of Mayorga. AT 154.
Mayweather would SMOKE JCC at 140.
              Should of, would of,?
It's not even a question. Mayweather would DESTROY JCC at 140.
              It would be a slaughter...

First of all, CHAVEZ wasn't in his prime when he fought De La Hoya, if you did/do.. I'm laughing in your face. hard.

Second of all 140 is not 147 or any other division. It's a different level of comfort. At 140 Mayweather was beginning to pot-shot and lose any power he has/had.

Mayweather fought Corley, Gatti, Bruseles. That's it.

Chavez fought Camacho, Rogey Mayweather, Lockridge, Rosario, Taylor twice, Mitchell, Frankie Randall, Whitaker, Kostya Tszyu, Angel Hernandez and De La Hoya. Clearly a better 140 resume. He also only OFFICIALLY lost to De La Hoya and Kostya Tszyu. You can say he shoudl have lost to Taylor and/or Whitaker, but everyone gets gifts. Like Mayweather did against Castillo. It's a moot point.

Chavez was a heavy, better, stronger, better chinned, more determined version of Castillo, and Castillo got to him when he had more power and speed, and in his PRIME weight. At 135. At 140, what gives you statisically and ACTUAL evidence, other than your hunch?

Have your opinion. You act as if they've already fought. They haven't.

For the record, the Whitaker comparison hardly works as they don't really even fight the same. Whitaker used his jab MUCH more, and was actually a more MOBILE fighter. Mayweather rolls his shoulders more. Which, for a fighter like Chavez/Castillo, makes a HUGE difference.

Did I ever bring Whitakers name into this? Nope, read again.
For all the should have would have ****, keep trying.
Your opinion. Well, there like *******s, and they all stink.
At 140, it's not even a doubt in my mind.
You see, JCC was out his prime when he got beat by DLH. Thats your reasoning? What weight did that fight take place?
Mayweather fought a out his prime DLH at 154.
                  Won.
Fought a much bigger, stronger DLH, that basically took Mayorga out with a left hook.
The SAME DLH THAT DESTROYED JCC both times they fought.

At 140, 135, 147, Mayweather beats JCC. Prime or not.

I am opened minded. But if you want to bring into the could have would have ****, don't bring up JCC.
Your not schooling me on anything.
Mayweather isn't a natural welterweight either. Thats what the Hatton fans like to throw out as a excuse.
He started out as a 130.
I do think Mayweather can be beat. But Cotto isn't the one. And it will get proven.
PWill is the only man at this time that I think could beat Mayweather.
