exactly, if a man or team gives there absolute all but comes up short then we will support them all the way. it doesn't mean we like losing, it means we embrace our athletes who put everything on the line and show great heart and effort. ricky will still be loved, and for a classic example of this look at the 1990 england world cup team. we lost in the semis on pens but the whole team and tournament is talked about with a lot of admiration
