Well I guess it's open to debate, who knows for sure.. but it was Naz himself who claimed that Eubank copied the famous rope-vault:

"There has been bad blood between the pair for years. Hamed claims that Eubank copied his trademark rope-vault from him, when Eubank, still a relative novice, came to Brendan Ingle's Sheffield gym to spa with Herol Graham."

I liked the guy. I used to stay up late when he fought in the USA. I was at Cardiff Rugby Club to watch him become Britain's youngest world champion when he beat Steve Robinson.

When he fough Barrera he was passed his peak. A younger Naz would have done better. . .things started to go wrong when he left the Wincobank Gym.

I personally like the guy, i just love his entrances, the way he fights and even though he is arrogant he puts a great show.
Naseem Hamed had one in-prime-fighter in his career, Barrera, and he got dusted like a beanfield.

Pacman would have schooled Naseem had he been around the same time, as would JMM.

Hamed is now fat and ugly, half of what he was back then. Back then he was just ugly, and the best of a bad bunch.

He was an arrogant prick. I have never been so happy to see a fighter lose. I hope he drags his sorry ass back in the ring and gets crushed when he fights anyone semi-good (again.) "Im gonna retire unbeaten! Aint nobody can beat me! Im the best! Priase Allah and **** you guys!!!!" Plus those 3 hour ring walks were ****in gay. Gayer then 8 guys blowing 9 guys. Just like Naz.

Agreed things went wrong when his brothers took over his management, they allowed him to get away with murder (i.e. not train). But he wasn't past his peak. For me, that was his peak. It's just he hadn't had anyone 'prime' before (and don't mention Kevin Kelley and Junior Jones because they were never prime greats).

              Barrera made him look ******.

Well nobody wanna see an Arab after 9/11 did they? People was too emotional and promoting Nassem could endanger his life.

About his loss to Barrera it was more of him losing than Barrera winning not taking away anything from Barrera.

But Nassem Hamed became so ****y that he rarely trained and problems in the camp with Emanuel Steward was one of the worst in boxing.

and the evidence of of Nassem Hamed going down is that he was getting hit more in his later fight and He ass kicked in sparring pre-Barrera fight.

                    That is so true.

I was 15 in 1990, and looking back now, I realise how right you are.

                    Props.
