Obviously Manny needs to beat Juan Manuel in a very impressive fashion but if he does that would be far more impressive than Mayweather stopping Ricky Hatton.

I don't think even a impressive victory over Marquez would put him in the number one spot. Floyd is there by himself with no one else really close. I don't think Pac will destroy Marquez, I think if he wins it will be very well earned.

It wouldn't change my list but I wouldn't care if they shared it. I don't give Pacquiao much credit for beating Barrera again. The win years back was great but the last one was nothing special.

Yeah no way. Beating marquez impressievely would be great, but not p4p #1 status.

Floyd would have to lose/retire for me to put Pacquiao at number 1.

Sure why not. Afterall, Marquez is considered by many to be THE #1 Super Featherweight. He has the WBC belt and is recognized by many. What the hell was Hatton before Floyd beat him? A man that didn't belong in a division he already ****** in and dropped back down because he ****** in it? Then he goes back up to finally lose in the division he already knew he was bad in? Yup, that's an accomplishment. For me, Manny KOing Marquez would be huge but doubtful if he couldn't do it the first time around. I think if Manny does beat Marquez though, it would make him more solid as the #1 P4P. Marquez is a whole lot more than Hatton will ever be. Oh god, what's that I hear? The size 5 shoes of all Floyd's followers about to jump on me, 10 vs 1 because I insulted their undefeated champ. Ya know what, I'll take my, stepping out cue right about now.
