Thats all that needs to be said.
Not really, he fell forward in the 8th too but fought on to a decent 9th round.

The turncbuckle most likely played its part imo. But its always going to be opinion when your talking. Only Hatton knows, maybe he'll speak on it.

Yeh it was the punch that caused to KO,then a series of them AND YES the turnbuckle pad IS PADDED a lot BUT I wasnt saying that the corner turnbuckle would have caused any damage to Hattons head, like a cut or bruise im saying that his head was near pushed into his chest!

Anyone who says the check hook did not lead to the knockout is denying fact.
        Its very simple.

Right but the fact that Hatton was SO hurt and SO out on his feet that his body went right into the turnbuckle shows how hurt he really was.
He would have gone right through the ropes had it been another part of the ring.

For all we know, the turnbuckle did the most damage, but the face-first plant into the turnbuckle was caused by.....................the check hook.

Like I said before I compare this fight to Mosley vs Vargas. After Mosley crushed Vargas with that left hook we all knew the feet was over. Due to both Hatton's & Vargas championship heart they rose to their fight & continued. But both were gone from the one punch; neither had the legs to continue & weren't going to recover even though they beat the count.

He didn't. You're not counting the in close in punches when they're gripped.

Mayweather hits him with a few clean shots at the start of the round, then Cortez lets them do a little in-fighting for a change and Hatton dominates the middle of the round with Mayweather most'y covering up up against the ropes. The commentator even says that 'when Hatton gets to fight the way he wants to fight (i.e. close in) it goes his way).

I honestly think Cortez only let the clinching go in the middle of that round because he thought Hatton was fcuked, but Hatton won the tight exchanges. In the remainder of the round Cortez goes back to his breaking up at the merest contact and Mayweather starts ducking and diving and hitting with the jab.

The fight ended less than 30 seconds after the check hook dude.
Its pretty clear who is being think and denying basic facts.
To claim the check hook did not lead to the knockout is straight up ******ity. Or bias, Im not sure which.
