    The KO.. (Mayweather-Hatton)

No Doubt That "Check" Hook was sweet Punch....
Perfectly timed..And Right on the Money..

However... After Hatton ate it.. he hit his head neck down on the turnbuckle..

Got up at the count of 8.. and immediately went on the Attack...

After 2 big hits (the Hook and the Post) He was still there..

However he then ate a Right hand.. That put him on ***** street..

Not as Pretty as the check hook... But being 2 hits after the check.. the REAL KO punch...

Sorry if that burts anyone's Bubble... But hatton Did not get KO'd by the check Hook.. He got KO'd by a dandy Straight right...

The check Hook KO.. is a Myth that needs to be stopped now.. It was a Knock down punch.. And a beauty.. BUT it was not the KO punch..

hatton was never the same after the check hook, not even close to regaining his legs, thats pretty obvious to me.

the check hook jus started the KOing process. no one thought he was comin out alive after that, not even ricky himself. if the turnbuckle wasnt there, he woulda went down face first onto the canvas. plus that turnbuckle is padded, so i wouldnt say that forced him to fall over, it jus bounced him back in the other direction...

He hit iT neck down.. which can cause wiplash and concussions... I am sure it did half the damage..

He beats the count... he was NOT Ko'd... He lasts another 20 seconds on strong legs.. Then get's blasted a by right....

          It's just a fact...

I agree. That right hand only landed because he was out from the hook.

The hook put everything else into motion. Not the KO punch, but still basically the end of the fight.

              Wrong again, Welter.
After he got up, Floyd landed two flush left hooks right behind the ear.

              The right hand barely landed.

Your right it did m8,I was only saying this last night to a friend when talking about the fight (I hadnt seen him since b4 the fight) and I sed exactly the same,he didnt hit it like you would butt someone,no he hit it like a ramming top of the head first job which neck nerves suffer from causing the damage you talk of....

no doubt the right did it, as well the other left hooks he landed after he got up, i aint arguin that. im arguin that the turnbuckle did any damage. it didnt look as if it did. u ever run into one of those in the ring before. its padded. it jus bounces u off of it, doesnt really hurt u. i dont think it did THAT much damage, but what the hell i aint hatton so i dono. i think the hook knocked him down (obviously) and the second the right finished him. turnbuckle knocking him down is bull**** IMO, he woulda went down facefirst if they were in the center.

Thats revisionist History.. and only YOUR opinion.. that fact is
He got Check hooked at 1:58 ...was up at 8
and then went on the attack.. Got hit By Floyd again by left hook.. Then ate another left hook which had hi out.. took the right.. and fell.. This is at 1:39..

No Opinion just facts... The Check Hook did not knock him out..
