Nobody decides whether to post on the basis of thread-stars anyway.

What I find funny is how Hatton and his people and fans keep complaining then at the beginning or end of the complaint they all say "take nothing away from Mayweather". But by complaining about the fight you are taking away from Mayweather. Thats like saying to a man "no disrespect but you are a *****" or saying to a woman " no disrespect you are a whore, slut and a ****". Just because you say no disrespect doesn't mean you aren't being disrespectful. All these bull**** complaints are actually taking away from the wonderful job PBF did. People need to man up take the loss regroup and get back up in the saddle. **** right now Hatton and his fans are basically looking and acting like Ricky's girl was after the fight or whenever she was ballin crying.

        YALL NEED TO GO DOUCHE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think the majority of Hatton's fans realised that it would have to take a monumental effort for him to beat Mayweather. The simple fact of the matter is that Mayweather is the better fighter, but that doesn't mean that you can't have an opinion regarding the loss for Hatton without it sounding like your detracting something from the performance that Mayweather gave e.g. IMO Joe Cortez had a terrible night, and was needlessly seperating the fighters at times, and Hatton was always going to get caught because of the gung-ho approach that he adopted, but Mayweather performed exceptionally, no question.

Course mayweather got into his head, hatton went from saying "he can't get under my skin" to basically acting just like mayweather towards the fight at which point mayweather had become more calm and focused.

Even at the ring entrance time Hatton appeared to be hyped, and eager to get the fight under way...

24/7 didn't do hatton any favors...

Floyd and his trashtalk really did have an effect on how hatton fought to some degree. nobody fights with their emotions unless there is something innate going on to some degree causing them to want to come out the way hatton did. DLH tried to warn hatton that what mayweather says gets on your nerves.

Hatton went from saying he wasnt going to get into all of the bull**** trashtalk and bravado and other bull****, to doing it to some degree himself. Hatton wasnt really being his usual self after awhile, the throat slash gesture at last wednsdays press conference really showed me that something was definately different about his demeanor.

The fact that the magnitude of this fight was so huge, and the man he was in there with, and with the feeling that he wanted to not only make his own words reality, but make mayweather eat his probably had an effect, it had to have.

Hatton didnt do what i thought he was going to do, and he was dominated worse than i thought hed be and ill tell you why. Hatton smothered his own punches, he didint work well AT ALL on the inside and you can blame the ref if you want, but on the inside, it was mayweather going to he body with shortened uppercuts and hooks. Hatton never unloaded, he never gave himself the space to unload and he was so intent on imposing his will on mayweather, but mayweather wouldnt budge, as uncomfortable as he was early on, mayweather never backed down and never folded, and i think hatton honestly expected that.

Hattons downfall to me, was when mayweather really turned it up to the body, and the fact that i dont think he thought mayweather needed such little space to get off his punches. While hatton comes in wide, it is relativly quick, but mayweather is even quicker and needs less space to do so. The more hatton got his body assaulted, the worse off he was, by the 6th/7th/8th round it was starting to have an effect.

As far as the ref goes, i really dont give a ****, hatton was NOT working on the inside, he was mauling and mugging, i would feel bad if hatton was being his normal self and working, picking shots, backing up, unloading, thats not what was happening, thats why i dont understand how Cortez stopped hatton from doing what he was supposed to be doing, PUNCHING.
              i agree good post

Good post BlackJesus. Hatton was walking the ring like a caged tiger. He could barely contain himself. You simply cannot fight a sharpshooter like PBF with that attitude.

24/7 .... too much critiquing of PBF the person

you know I don't even have to read responses to come to the same conclusion as this topic implies

watch 24/7. Hatton seems more concerned with how Floyd spends his money .. how Floyd doesn't have many fans (45,000 vs 45) how Floyd trains (hope he hits me harder then the pads) ... I mean ****

how does all the above factor into a fight with Mayweather

cuz I don't think it matters how Floyd spends his money, treats his fans or even trains, but thats just me

even on the last episode ... Floyd's trash talk was much more relaxed .. calling him a midget and saying he "screamed like a *****"

Hatton on the other hand, when he was rallying the crowd about "who they came to see"

just seemed plain agitated ... he actually thought Floyd was serious about all the British fans coming to see Mayweather over Hatton.

No it isn't. Floyd did everything to the best of his ability, no one can take that away from him. But the ref was questionable.

24/7 made Hatton look like an animal and a lot of my dumbass friends bought into it. One bet me money straight up that Hatton would KO Mayweather. I was laughing as I accepted the bet. I cleaned up big time thanks to that show.

And yeah, my girlfriend who watched 24/7 was saying the same thing. She said Floyd's trash talk works because Hatton fought like he was a maniac with not control at all. I wasn't as convinced since Hatton always looks like **** to me, but the more I watch the fight and yes, the postfight interview, the more I'm convinced she and you are right about that. Mayweather is the best trash talker in sports. Look how fumed he got De La Hoya and Mr. Cool Hatton.
