i'd like to see this fight happen. i like both fighters, but paulie is a bad ass. he has the same heart as gatti. when cotto broke his jaw he kept fighting. i'll be rooting for paulie on this one.

      But will it happen?

Hatton wants to fight at home... AND at MSG.

I can see him fighting an easier opponent at home first in Manchester - Gavin Rees, Jr Witter first... then coming back to America.

Hatton camp will know he's gotta redeem that loss with a solid win for the confidence of Rick. He might not get an easy time with Paulie. Even a rough night with him which resulted in a win, could ruin his confidence - and the camp won't want that.

Hatton fights at home first. I'd put money on it.

Hatton needs to fight Witter first, There is no point going after Paulie now because the man has two contractual fight in front of him. Paulie has his mandatory in Herman N? then Lovemore Ndou so i doubt Paulie would be ready for Hatton in 2008.

Witter on the other hand would be ready including his WBC belt and his a domestic rival but i doubt Team Hatton fancy this fight since they've avoided the fight in the past.

I think Hatton should take on Gavin Rees in Manchester next, then smash Malignaggi to pieces at MSG and maybe take on Torres in Vegas before coming home and fighting Witter.

HAtton said he wouldnt fight far past 30, guess he doesnt want to become a legend. So eventually he will fight both Witter and Malinaggi then retire.

Paulie by SD if it's in the UK, UD if it's in the US.

Hatton WILL NEVER fight Witter. You people need to read Hatton's interviews.

Probably the best logical fight for him at 140, seeing that Malignaggi has no power. Junior Witter is a risky fight.

                      No Oscar!!!!

I want to go on record and say that there should be no discussion of Oscar fighting Ricky Hatton.... That fight is not justified by Rickys performance and the fact that Oscar is huge compared to him.... He is not an elite fighter, stay at 140 and see where it goes.
