I was incensed at the behavior of Hatton's Fans

I can't speak for the rest of America, but I know my friends and associates atleast aren't the type that would go to England for a Pacquiao fight then spit on the grave of Princess Diana. There is no way to excuse that kind of behavior.Comment

I know a ****load of Americans that felt the same way. Operative word, felt. After that exhibition, Americans I believe will sympathize with him more for what Hatton's fans, not Mayweather or his camp, projected him as, which was to entangle him in the USA image. Going on to win by KO subsequently was icing on the cake.Comment

Don't get me wrong, but it's not unlike when Sgt. Slaughter beat the Iron Shiek during the Iran Contra situation and went from heel to hero. It's easier to like Mayweather for the way he conducted himself in the ring. When it comes down to true professionalism, just as was exhibited against Judah, Mayweather is all business. Never personal.
And any upcoming fight, I will still pray for him to lose.. just so that his loud mouth can finally shut up about being the greatest!
If you're all that great (which I admit) why not let us, the fans do his praising? Why does he has to be a ****y SOB disrespecting the other all time greats? That's the part that I hateComment

Well, In-Ring Mayweather... I eat my own words, but he really is an amazing boxer and my hat goes off to him... But it doesn’t change the fact of how he handles himself outside of his "office".
And any upcoming fight, I will still pray for him to lose.. just so that his loud mouth can finally shut up about being the greatest!

Mayweather is an excellent fighter who will always find some difficulty in being accepted. It's his mouth that shoots him in the foot. As a fighter, he has it all but he's about as hard to swallow as Amy Winehouse outside of the ring.Comment

at that exaggeration there. They booed an anthem, which is a terribly classless and graceless thing to do, but what analogy are you going to use next? "I wouldn't kick the queen in the ****"?

Call it what you want, there's no excuse good enough for that type of behavior. Especially after America opened it's arms to Hatton. You can blame it on the football culture or whatever you want but at the end of the day there is no excuse to justify those actions.
What pisses me off most is most Europeans have an arrogant attitude towards Americans, calling us "barbaric" or "uncivil". If that wasn't the pot calling the kettle black I don't know what is, at least we respected your anthem.Comment

ok them your abusing the system. Tell me something what happenes when threads keep getting made of the same same thing? They get merged together what you need to do is find the 10 or so threads that have already been made on this topic and express your stances on them in there.Comment
